New Kyosho 1/7 Scorpion XXL VE 2WD Buggy

After the announcement in early August here is the first image of the new edition of the Scorpion Buggy from the 80s. The model will be sold assembled and ready to run with a brushless motor,  Team Orion Vortex and  Radio KT-201 2.4 GHz.

My only question is why 1/7 Scale ? Why not 1/5 ?

Kanai on Top in Bejing

The ROAR nationals wasn't the only international race taking place last weekend, Team C Racing held their Buggy cup event in Bejing, China with a 61 entries attending including former World Champ and designer Yuuichi Kanai. Kanai took the win with his Kyosho MP9 / Orion combo.

Tebo/Kyosho ST-RR TQ Truggy @ The Dirt

Jared Tebo is the Top Qualifier for the Truggy class at the ‘The Dirt’ Nitro Challenge having secured the honour by backing up his opening qualifying performance with another TQ run in the second. The US Truggy Champion once again headed a Kyosho 1-2 at the top the time sheets improving his time by 6 seconds while team-mate Cody King set a new fastest lap time of 44.399 on his way to second.

Orion's Special Edition WC & TQ Engines

Team Orion is releasing two special edition engines celebrating their Worlds result. There will be a limited quantity (~500) of engines, with specific designs on the cooling head - one for Cody King's WC win and one for Jared Tebo TQ'ing, all engines will have a special serial number and come packaged with an official team shirt, also included is the EFRA 2058 pipe and turbo glowplug.

Team Orion irá lançar dois motores comemorativos do mundial. Eles serão limitados a 500 unidades e virão com cabeçotes especiais, um comemorando o campeonato mundial de Cody King e outro comemorando o TQ (Melhor Classificação) de Jared Tebo. Ambos os motores virão com uma camiseta oficial do Team Orion e uma pipa EFRE 2058, além de uma vela Turbo.
